Dr. ****** invented meibomian probing, currently the only procedure available that clears the obstructions in the meibomian glands. Secondly, he looks for the underlying reasons for dry eyes. The reason may be systemic, regional, or local. If it is local, it may require resurfacing the eye, as in my case. Lastly, he is looking for new drugs to keep the glands open by proportioning the two types of oils in the glands.
