She is at 33 Avenue Road, ph#416-921-2375-Specialized in Sjogens,GVHD and is able to fit for Scleral Lenses a fraction of what BSF charges

I would also like to hear your story, I'm looking for a good optometrist in Canada. Been suffering from dry eyes for over 2 years!

I too see Dr. Caffrey for both my dry eyes and sjogrens and while she has no magic wand for any of my symptoms, she has been one of the most caring docs I've ever dealt with. On my last visit there (last week in fact) she asked me how I was doing emotionally and I was impressed that a doc took this type of concern about her patients. She asked me directly how I was able to over come some of the anxiety and depression from my lasik nightmare and I was surprised she took this type of interest as most docs only see the medical side of things. I wonder if she is noticing a direct relation between lasik issues and anxiety and depression in patients? It would be nice to see the medical field acknowledge this on-going issue.
I agree she is worth the trip to go and see.

I saw Dr. Caffrey early on in my post lasik months. I have to agree with fiddle, she has been the only doctor I have ever met who treated me like a complete human being and not a set of isolated eyeballs. She was very compassionate and knowledgeable about post lasik dry eye. She does a complete dry eye evaluation with shrimmers, corneal and conjunctivial staining, TBUT and meibomian gland evaluation.

If your in the Toronto area, I suggest you get in to see her. Her office is very accommodating. . . and the front desk staff is amazing!
