Low Testosterone Help

Ok, I am 30 year old female who had a bunch of blood work done to see if we could find out what is going on with my eyes. Everything is negative except I have low testosterone and might even have to take it as replacement.

My dry eye came on quickly. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with dry eye. I think testoterone comes from the adrenal glands.

Yes it does. That's why men get dry eyes less frequently than women. Testosterone in women is produced in the ovaries. Give it a shot, but be careful to monitor your levels regularly with bloodwork. I was also diagnosed with low testosterone and went on androgel. In my case it didn't work but everyone is different.

I had a hormone panel done almost 2 years ago. My testosterone was high. I've had dry eye for 17 years.
