Just wondered about blephasols ingredients toxicity and how safe they were for use on skin ..as i do tend to soak the product onto the eyelids and the margins and some probably seeps into the eyes and leaves a very cool feeling but no actual burning or redness, but i do feel a bit weird after using it ..it feels like my heads been in a freezer and i feel a bit numb ?
Ingredients: Aqua, peg-8, polysorbate 20, capryloyl glycine, poloxamer 184, peg-6, caprylic/capric glycerides, dipotassium phosphate, sodium hydroxide & potassium phosphate.

Why is it a risk?
Polysorbate starts out as harmless sorbitol, but then it's treated with carcinogenic ethylene oxide. It's called Polysorbate 20 because it's treated with 20 "parts" of ethylene oxide. The higher the number, the more ethylene oxide it has been treated with. This substance is then combined with various fatty acids. The Skin Deep Database rates it as only a "one," and doesn't pick up on the risk that it could be contaminated with ethylene oxide, and subsequently, 1,4 dioxane. In addition, it can be laced with heavy metals.

According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer Working Group, occupational exposure to ethylene oxide during its production, processing, or clinical use has been related to an increased incidence of leukemia. Other cancers related to potential ethylene oxide exposure include esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, brain and central nervous system cancer, neoplasms of lymphatic and hematopoietic tissue, and Hodgkin's disease.

It kind of shocks me how some of these hazardous chemicals make it into cosmetics etc considering there potential for systemic toxicity
