  • good ophthalmologist in Toronto?

I'm wondering if anyone here know of a good ophthalmologist in Toronto or the GTA. Someone who takes dry eyes seriously. I saw a handful of ophthals early one and they sort of treated me like a pest - come back when you have a serious eye condition, is what one of them told me.

    Thanks

I would try to get an appointment with a few of the doctors here: http://www.herzig-eye.com/contact-us.php

Dr. Ritesh Patel (http://www.ratemds.com/doctor-rating...oronto-ON.html) uses LipiFlow, but some of the other doctors at the Herzig Eye Institute may be of great help to you as well.

For the record, I have no experience with any of these doctors, but I've heard good things. Perhaps someone else can confirm what I'm recommending.

You can also check out threads under "plug a doctor".
See this one for example: http://www.dryeyezone.com/talk/showt...Toronto-Canada

Actually, I currently see Dr. Caffery! I've done a search on that board, but most of the reviews (barring Dr. Caffery's) seem to be misses.

I see both Dr. Caffrey and Dr. Patel. I would highly recommend either of them. They both have different approaches to treatments. Dr. Patel provides LipiFlow treatments and is somewhat experienced with some of the US based treatments ie AzaSite.
