I am looking for a recommendation for a dry eye specialist in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. I have had dry eyes for a number of years and my regular eye doc doesn't seem to really be interested in getting to the root cause of the dry eyes. He has only gone to the level of Restasis and plugs, neither of which have worked for me. I need to see someone who really knows how to diagnose and treat dry eyes.
Using the search function, I found Dr. ****** and called his office. Honestly, it sounds a little strange to me that he is not in any insurance company's network. I really don't want to drop $300+ out of pocket for an initial visit there.
