Anyone Know of Ophthalmologist in Boston area who prescribes autologous serum

Hi everyone - Have had DES for over one year after a very severe EKC infection. Am very interested in trying serum drops. My ophthalmologist is not very helpful and offers only Restasis. Does anyone know of a clinic/ophthalmologist in the greater Boston area (or anywhere in New England) who prescribes autologous serum. Thanks for your help.

I'm afraid that I can't answer your question specifically (I don't know the area). However, if I was looking for autologous serum drops and didn't know where to go, I think I'd call the biggest, 'best' compounding pharmacy in my area. Ask them if they bottle autologous serum drops. If they do, they could probably give you a list of doctors who order them for their patients. If they don't, they might be able to steer you to the compounding pharmacy that does and you can ask them for a list of doctors.
