  • Need help contacting Dr Ghinelli re AMX drops -any Italian speakers

I have been trying in vain to contact Dr Emiliano Ghinelli in Italy concerning his invention of AMX drops. I really would like to get his email address to ask him if he would see my wife so she could try the AMX drops. I am not certain we will do this as we would be coming from Australia but I first need to get in touch with him to see if is at all possible.

I have tried via his website to send a form to him but have had no response - I sent it two weeks ago. There does not seem to be any actual email address listed on his website but there are about 6 different telephone numbers for the various surgeries he works at. I have rung them all but only one has answered. I have rung this one on two different days but both times the answerer speaks only Italian and I can get no further. The number for this one is +39 329 74 97 444.
    His website is http://www.emilianoghinelli.com/Opht...e-surgery.html
If anyone already knows his email address, or if anyone who speaks Italian could ring the above number to get it for me, I would be very grateful.

If it is not DEZ policy to publish email addresses perhaps someone could Private Message me.

    Thanks
    Neil

I just tried the number again and the lady managed to get through to me that Dr Ghinelli is on holidays till next week. So I will withdraw my request for any Italian speakers to ring him. I will try again next week myself unless anyone does know his email address.

      Hi,
here is his email address: info@emilianoghinelli.com. He answered after 9 days, so you will have to be patient probably.
If you get in touch with him, could you then please post here the result. I mean how much it costs and if you can get it at the office directly (or somewhere else)?
I plan to ask him about AMX myself soon, but not now yet.

I received a response from Dr. Ghinelli that answers all these questions. I won't post it here due to privacy reasons. Neil you may wish to contact hank, since we are working on obtaining the product in Australia. It may save you a trip to Italy if that was your plan.

Hi Karen, my colleague and I put that website together. The good news is Dr. Ghinelli is making AMX available to the world through a process he's working on. You'll still need to find an ophthalmologist to prescribe it.
Currently, we are working with our governments regulation system to assure it's safety in our country and we already know ophthalmologists whom will prescribe it. We are getting closer. AMX seems to be a revolution in dry eye care and it's complications.

Not years, it'd be more accurate to say months. It needs clearance with your countries regulation system and can go under a special benefits scheme. Regulation authorities need to know that it's safe to use so negotiations take place which can take a few months. If you can find an ophthalmologist whom is interested in obtaining it (because nothing else is really working), then they should assist in obtaining it.

Well, it's not in Australia yet either. You need to find an ophthalmologist and persuade them on it's effectiveness and have them liase with your countries regulation system. Once it's cleared, simply have your specialist send a script for it and you'll have it sent
