Dr. Smith is the only doctor who accurately diagnosed my stevens johnson syndrome during the critical acute phase. He referred me to the Ophthalmologist, David Harris, that saved my eye sight. He is a contact lens specialist and has years of experience with slceral lenses. He gave me a near perfect fit the first try and a perfect fit on the 3rd try. His staff is excellent and his service is wonderful. He is also trained in ocular surface disease management and is very good at it.
For serious eye problems that require surgery and MD management:
David J. Harris, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S.
Cornea Specialist
Medical School: University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis
Ophthalmology Residency: Bethesda Naval Hospital
Board Certification: American Board of Ophthalmology
Fellowship: Cornea and external diseases at Emory University

This man saved my eye sight. He was the eye doctor for George Bush Sr and he diagnosed Barbara Bush's Graves Disease. He is probably one of the best cornea specialist in the country. I was referred to him in the acute phase of my SJS by Dr. Smith. He put me on his priority list and worked tirelessly to save my eyes. He even came in on a Sunday to remove pseudo membranes. His nurses are excellent but it is very hard to get in to see him unless you are in serious need of help. The only draw back to going to him is the difficulty in scheduling. His treatments are cutting edge but based on what he has learned works.
