  • Austin or San Antonio - post lasik 2nd opinion/blurriness/dry eye

Can anyone recommend docs in the Austin or San Antonio, TX, area?

I am aware of a popular eye doc in the Dallas area, but something closer would be ideal to start with.

My main problem is that my right eye still blurry and at times painful and it doesn't seem to be entirely dry eye related b/c that has been improving. I would like to find another doc who will objectively assess my lasik outcome and perform wavefront aberrometry.

Second problem is the dry eye, which is moderate, but now fluctuating and overall less bothersome than it was 2 weeks ago, and restasis hasn't even had a month to kick in yet.

I know all of this can change in time, but I'm trying to plan ahead by finding some other docs now in order to get on their schedules because I expect that I'll need to see someone around the holidays if things haven't changed.

    Thanks!

I haven't been there, but the Boston Eye Foundation has a clinic in San Antonio. At the very least I bet they could send you in the right direction.
