I found this listing while searching for a dry eye specialist in the Chicago area:

WOW, I looked at their site and it is interesting. They are trained for everything from dry eyes to botox, dermabrasion and all kinds of extras. Since you'd be going for dry eyes, I doubt they would try to sell you a cosmetic procedure. :-) Lucy

LOL! I guess what drew me into that website was the mention of rosacea -- I was thinking that a practice that dealt with skin problems and eye problems might "get" the link between facial and ocular rosacea. I have mild facial rosacea and I wonder if I might have ocular as well. But you're right, they might be the type to push cosmetic procedures....hmmm.

As you can see, I'm shopping for a new doc.

This reminds me of the time I took my toddler into a walk-in clinic for an earache while we were on vacation. The docs did certain procedures on the side in addition to the acute care stuff. They tried to sell me a chemical peel for my face. It was indeed a turn-off.
