I have been suffering with photophobia since summer.Last month the PAIN started(10 out of 10) when I move my eyes, usually early in the morning.
Eye Dr just started me on Restasis, lubricating drops and hot packs, also ordered Tranquil eye goggles,I sleep with my eyes slightly open.,I sure hopes this work. Thanks for all the good information.

    Hi Wheezy and welcome!

    How severe is the photophobia?

Do you have moisture chambers yet? Might want to get some good ones for outdoors - glasses like Wiley-X or 7Eye, if you get them with fairly dark lenses (usually the cheapest lenses are the darkest) help with photophobia a lot because the eyecup cuts all peripheral light.

The photophobia is bad enough to wear 2 pairs of sunglasses(clip-ons and wrap around sunglasses) that I wear over my prescription glasses.I have ordered the moister goggles,I am trying Similisan Dry Eye Relief(took away the burning sensation,so far so good
