Hi Everyone
Due to wearing monthly contact lenses my eye has been inflammed and dry for over a year. I am now under the hospial and the doctor has said this is because the glands that prevent moisture evapourating from the eye are inflammed, therefore not working properly. I have had steroid drops, which helped, but have caused my eye sight to deteriorate slightly. I now have some cellovisc eye drops, which wet the eye for a short period but are not helping solve the inflammation. Whenever i wear make up my eye dries up straight away and is painful, so I no longer wear it
. I have found this website very useful and think the cold compress is a god send. But like all of u guys I really want my eye to get better so is there anything I can take or do other than steroid drops to help my eye get better for good?
