Hi all,
About 4 months a go I started noticing oily/blurry vision in right eye, mostly when doing computer work.
my eye doctor says eyes are fine, but right eye is suffering from imbalance between lipids, tears etc and this is causing the oily film. He said it was a condition that occurs with dry eye.
I wear contact lenses for about 20 years (soft, without problems until now)
I have been using warm compresses for 4 weeks now and using artificial tears during the day and before going to bed, and while I sense a small improvement, the problem has not disappeared.
If I blink hard or use artificial tears the problem will reduce for a few minutes but then returns. It is causing problems using the computer at work.
Has anyone experienced anything similar - am I being advised correctly by the doctor?
Looking forward to hearing your comments,
Stephen
