Hi Rose, So happy to hear from you but sad that you are suffering with your eyes and fibromyalgia. Hope you are finding doctors who can support you with this and some good advice. You are definitely here in a good place with us.

Glad you like UK and Europe: it is a gentle autumn here in southern England this year, golden leaves, but still a lovely mild sunny day around 4 degrees. We just got back from the Balearics in the Mediterranean... Littlemermaid, my daughter with dryeye, was very happy, snorkelling every day! You will see how we all have good days and bad days.

For info for anyone else with infected rosacea meibomian gland dysfunction: MGs are now clear and great after 1wk of this (left UK with a nasty red eye) esp on the healthy seafood diet, eye infections gone, reduced antibacterial eyedrops. Dermatology difficult in the sun despite sunblocks, rosacea redness worse, it is difficult to find one she is not sensitive to, but skin infections definitely gone therefore eyes improved. We think honey-based moisture helps the skin barrier. New punctal plugs looking good, still not tearing automatically but tear film looks consistently better.

So welcome, Rose. You see we are many different aetiologies and causes of dry eye but you will definitely find people here same as you.

Please let us know how you get on with your neuro-ophthalmologist.
