I just bought a gorgeous, loving Exotic Shorthair cat. I seem to be having a worse than usual time with my right eye being dry. I have put drops in that are okay for a little while and then it starts all over again.

I do not want to return this kitten to the breeder and she has given me 7 days to decide. Is there anything that I can do other than take antihistamines and become tired? Any advice would be welcomed.

Antihistamines may actually make your problem worse. They tend to dry out your sinuses, and can definitely have an effect on your tear production.

Getting a humidifier is an idea.

I'm not sure if a cat allergy would affect only one eye. Are you sure the kitten is the problem? Could it be something else?
