new here - but not to dry eye

I am new here although I have been reading Keratascoop for a few years. Had dry eyes for a few years and sort of managed to get it under control but now flared up again in the past 2 weeks..I wonder if it ha anything to do with the cold dry weather!

Welcome to the forum. What caused your dry eye and what diagnoses (e.g. MGD, aqueous deficiency) do you have?

when i went ot the dry eye centre in lonodn about 2 years ago, they said MGD.....i feel that the cold dry weather has made it worse...

If you have pain, it would make sense that the pain gets worse in cold weather. If you only have discomfort, cold should make you feel better since your tear film is evaporating more slowly.

What do you think your MGD was caused by? Are you a heavy computer or phone user? Are you young or old?

For me cold weather is killer and not because of the cold but because of the dry, artificially heated air inside the home (or office).
