  • Testosterone cream prescribed by OBGYN

    Hi dry eye mates,
I just read "the dry eye remedying" by Dr. Latkany. I went into early surgical menopause at age 38 and have been taking HRT on and off for about ten years. Three years ago I developed dry eyes. He says in his book that estrogen stimulates inflammation in the eyes while androgen (testosterone) suppresses it. I was prescribed a low dose of testosterone cream. I'm just wondering if anyone has had good luck (or bad luck) with testosterone? I'm crossing my fingers that this will help my glands produce some more oil. I'll let you know either way if I get some relief.
