I have had dry eyes for at least 15 years and have experienced mild to severe throughout. Have plugs in both eyes and have used warm compresses and various drops with little or no comfort. I have also had Lipiflow with zero results. My doctor asked if I want to try a new device called "TrueTear" from Allergan. It works by introducing tips into the nose which stimulate actual real tears to flow on to my eyes! As strange as this sounds it worked for me! I suggest that you look online and see demonstrations on its use. As of now I am the only patient in my doctors office who found it successful? I didn't ask how many tried it but it absolutely improved the quality of my life.

Thanks for posting! So many dry eye treatments are 'hit and miss' - they work for some people and not others. I know quite a few people who have benefitted from True Tear but it's hard to get a sense of what 'type' of situations seem to benefit. So glad to hear it's helping you!
