Hi all. I've had the condition for around 4-6 years now. It all started when I noticed a little bubble in the white of my eyes, I went straight to my eye doc freaked out and he told me it was due to dryness. I did some refresh drops and warm compresses to resolve that and have ramped up my management of the issue over time. I wish I could go back to that first event and over-reacted.

I see a optometrist that feels like a specialist. He's aware of all the treatements, does IPL, Lipiflow, all the scans, etc. I actually went for my checkup yesterday and he said I've maintained what I have. There were some "ghost" glands and some that are shortened.

    My daily routine is:
    - Xiidra 2x daily
    - Warm compress mask microwaved 2x daily with an optional mid-day
    - iTear 2x daily
    - Retaine MGD Drops every 3 hours
    - Nulids I just bought, still figuring out where it fits in my routine - doc didn't prescribe, but wanted to give it a shot.
    - PRN D3 omega

My dad had Sjorgens, but my eye doc doesn't think I do, said that iTear wouldn't produce any moisture if I had it. Sound logical?
I tried the AIP diet for the last 10 days, but have found out that it takes at least 90 days to know if anything is helping - so I'm planning to drop it and get some blood work to see if food would even be my issue. I generally eat mostly anti-inflammatory 80% of the time, trying to avoid seed oils.

I work on computers , and have greatly reduced any video games with the kids down from 1-2 hours a day to 15-30 mins max (and not every day). I've switched from books to audiobooks - not sure if i need to or not..

Hoping to learn from others, but it's tough because everyone is in a different stage. My dream is to maintain what I have for the rest of my life, and avoid any further dropout.

    thanks!
