Light Sensitive???

Hello,

It was great finding this sight and finding new info on this condition. I have just been diagnosed and my dry eyes (according to my doctor) are related to my Rheumatoid Arthritis. My question for any and all is...do any of you have light sensitivity with this condition? Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Light Sensitive

Hello DEG and welcome! Light sensitivity was one of the first and worst symptoms I had when I was diagnosed with dry eyes. I had this "psychedelic, walking through water" sensation when I would go into certain stores with bright overhead lighting and driving on sunny days. I thought I was losing my mind, had a brain tumor, etc., etc. As I have gotten my dry eyes somewhat under control, that has mostly gone away. There are still some days when I walk into a store and think "uh oh, I need to put some drops in right now".
