Dry skin

Anyone think dry skin - Solaris keratonis has any relation to dry eye ?

I started getting dry skin (prickly sensation on my back and small bumps) right before my eyes went bad. More recently I've developed extremely dry/sensitive skin but I'm thinking its from long term use of doxycycline. I looked up solaris keratosis and thats definitely not what I have - I don't even think that pertains specifically to dry skin.
