New Dry Eye Person

Hello.
I was diagnosed with dry eye about two months ago.
My most difficult symptom is fatigue. I sleep 8-9 hours a night, and yet, after I'm up for a half hour, my eyes are so tired they wanna close. My eyelids are so heavy...

Is this a common symptom?

Hi and Welcome,

I think everyone has a mix of symptoms, and I have had heavy eyelids on and off. Someone else describes it like little cold metal pellets in the eyelids that drag them down, and for me that was spot on.

What type of DE do you have, a lack of tear prduction or a lack of oil in your tears. What treatments are you doing.

i have tear dysfunction.
i use Soothe XP, and that helps. The problem is that as soon as I start feeling better i always stop.

I also started using a saline solution in my eyes.

I also have a healing cd i listen to...
