New to all this !!

Hi there, just started with this April 20th and have had 4 corneal tears! This is the most pain I have ever felt in my life and I just did it again this morning!!! I am on my way to the Dr. right now but certainly the stories on this site have given me much hope and it helps to know I am not alone!! Thanks to all!

I wish you the best at the doctor's office. I hope that you can find a good plan that works for you!

It seems like we are getting a lot of people with Recurrent Corneal Erosions lately, and I hope that it is because the site is better at directing people here than because of more people getting them.

It is painful and debilitating. I lost a full month from work because of them, when it started for me, and it was so hard to get answers and to sort things out.

I wish you the very best; please be patient; it takes time to learn how to live with this condition.
