    Hiya

My name is Marnie and I live in England. I went to see my doctor for blood tests this week and have been checked for just about everything including, thyroid, iron, liver function, kidneys, hormone levels, bone mass;et al. I am in peri-menopause and understand that dry eyes can be a symptom at the fluctuation of hormone levels.

My eyes are very dry and gritty and also my vision is blurred. I also have specs of redness- bright lights and using the computer screen for too long makes them appear very sore. Although I have not had a specific diagnosis, I am here for advice from people who are "in the loop" and tips on how to alleviate the dreadful symptoms.

I have tried various artificial tears, but have not found anything much to (for want of a better expression) clap my hands about.

Thank you for letting me join your group...
