diagnosing dry eye

quick question: can a doctor see weather the eye is dry or not with the topographer? tnx for answers!

What is a topographer ? I have never heard of it ? What doctor is using this ?

Thanks, looks like this can tell if you have a big problem but many times it feels bad but you can not see anything wrong....
