Buying restasis in Europe??

Hi everyone,
just about to travel through Germany, Italy, spain, france and the UK
Wondering where and how to pick up in Restasis. My Opt in Australia cannot prescribe this because its not available in my home country Australia....
Any ideas or thoughts from people who use it???

Hi there!

I'm Norwegian, but get my Restasis at Quinze-Vingts Hospital in Paris. You'll need a prescription though, and you won't get that unless you have an appointment with a dry eye specialist there (my doctor is Prof. Baudouin). The waiting list is long, so it's something that has to be planned long time in advance.

Such websites are of course operating outside the law, and you risk putting something in your eye that is packaged identically--down to the dotting of the 'i' and the crossing of the 't'--to an authentic medication but is a fake.

probably u r right, but thats the only way i could get restasis, and its helping me dramatically, so i dont care whether its legal or not, i just want my DEZ to be under control, n thats all. but thanks for your care~~~

Do you get your restasis from same source as Sazi ?
She is convinced it is the genuine thing , and if it has helped you dramatically it probably is
I would have concerns about being sold a useless /or even worse dangerous product
BUT what other alternatives have we got in GB?
There,s the dog stuff but it is 4x stronger than restasis
The ideal way to get it in my opinion is to persaude a Dr (preferably an eye Dr ) to perscribe it and then get it from Leiters -- That is almost mission impossible !!!
So Kurt - It is perfectly understandable if we break the law -- people in GB with DE are DESPERATE for the help they need

It is a horrible shame you all feel the need to resort to buying Restasis from a non-reputable source. Kurt is simply expressing his concern, and would not want to see anybody harmed by using a potentially dangerous, impure product. There is every reason to be concerned here.

I am convinced it is the real thing, and I also want nothing else than my DES fixed. It's not as if there are any dabgerous side-effects either!......

Been making enquiries - Its not illegal to buy drugs off the internet, unless they are controlled drugs such as heroin , amphetamines and that sort of thing.
There may be legal issues regarding selling them - but buying them - you do so at your own risk apparantly

I understand the desperation and I am truly sorry you cannot find a way to get cyclosporine through your doctors. But I have to think of the big picture here too and the very last thing we need is for this board to get a reputation among doctors as the place where people are finding out how to procure prescription drugs without a prescription or the place that condones unsupervised use of prescription drugs.
