Here we go again. Why??

Hi There

After 40 yrs of Dry eye ,then finding this site and having at least the last 3 months of being very good just because of a few simple tips,ie. hot rice bags and a mask at night with damp eye pads inserted! The painfull stinging ,watering ,redness all but disappeared!

Thought it was all to good too be true,because its all coming back as before so so disapointing stinging eyes by mid morning then all day blah blah blah we all know the rest!

But why??

Im doing absolutely nothing at all differerent to what ive been doing for the last 3 months ,

Why does it come back,it seems to me this dry eye never really goes and each day you never really know what your going to get or how bad it will be but as you all know even a mild stinging will ruin your day!

Sorry folks to bore you all but feeling a bit down with dry eye at the mo ,thought id cracked it because of the various tips found on here but it seems not and each day seems to be getting worse.

Do you get any allergies to pollen/pollution etc? I always find some dry eye-ish symptoms come back at this time of year, just because there's a higher concentration of stuff around to irritate the eye.
