Makes a great deal of pharma sense (do need a control for nicotine side effects but I might advocate jumpiness hyper alertness etc over dry eye)

Worth discussing - this can be compounded, or simply 'used' as is (read article) - (but hard to make $ from and or even truly product out given ...)

Has this ever come up on / off this site?

acetylcholine receptor agonists

I was just given a prescription for salagen. When I looked up the drug to get more info I found that it is an acetylcholine agonists, as well as nicotine. I actually wondered, for a brief moment, if I should start smoking. Good to know there may be safer ways of dosing nicotine for dry eye!

Interesting find - does anyone know if any new drugs / drops are set to get to market in 2010 at all?
