  • The Gift Of Sight! An Inspiring Story Featured In The NY Daily News!

    Hi Everyone!

I am posting a link to an article about a young woman who regains her eyesight back and is able to see her youngest daughter for the first time! This story was featured in the NY Daily News on Friday, December 18th ,2009.

There are diseases such as inflammation of the uvea, which can rob people of their eyesight as in this young woman's case as well as other disorders of the eyes, including very serious inflammatory ocular surface symptoms due to conditions such as Lupus, Stevens Johnson Syndrome, Ocular Cicatricial Pemphigoid disorder, etc, that can also lead to prominent visual loss.

Her inspiring story and the successful outcome of the surgery prompted me to post a link to this article to those whose eyesight has diminished because of the aforementioned conditions listed above.

I welcome any comments you wish to make regarding this inspiring story!

    Pam

I remember hearing about that story on the 18th. What an incredible miracle. It should give everyone hope. I was surprised to hear that the New York Ear and Eye Infirmary performed the surgery. Those clowns botched up my biopsy and have been part of the reason I've been living in hell for the past 6 months. Anyway, God bless that woman and those doctors that were able to restore her sight. Praise the Lord.

      Hi,

I was doubled "shocked" when I read the article because the lead surgeon, Dr. Michael Samson, is my personal doctor who has correctly diagnosed my condition. when so many other doctors did not.
