Interesting....

I don't see Dr. Latkany's name as a speaker.

I think that Dr. Latkany comes from a more clinical perspective rather than a research/drug development perspective. And this summit seems to be more along the lines of new dry eye developments in terms of drugs, basic science research, and companies, rather than clinical stuff.

Well, I wonder if Dr. Latkany (and our doctors) will be attending! They will have an attendees list up soon.

Pflugfelder is a bigwig in the dry eye research community and he was on the list. My Doctor is always telling me to read his research articles.

Finding this thread interesting, I was anxious to see what transpired at this conference. I sent out an email asking when the lectures would be posted on the site. I got the following response....

Hi -

We will be posting the powerpoint presentations in the next few weeks. We will also be producing a DVD of the conference. There will be no charge for viewing the powerpoints on line, but there will be yet to be determined charge for the DVD.
