    Thanks. This is interesting. I guess I'll have to add yet another supplement to my arsenal. I'm willing to give it a try.

      Dry eyes or babys

      In Sweden, couples who have difficulty becoming pregnant being adviced not to eat soy beans (a rich source of Genistein). Genistein reduces the ability to fertilize eggs. So I guess it is up to each individual to choose what they want to do with their lives.

        Re: bias?

        This study and the study last year that said genistein may reduce hot flashes were both sponsored by the manufacturer of the product.

        We were always taught in epidemiology to look for potential biases in research and this is one.

        It would be good to have some follow-up studies that are independent of someone with potential monetary gain from a study's positive results.

        I don't mean to be a downer...
