    Living here in Fort Worth,
I can't find any of these eye products mentioned at this site.

What are the details of this Dwelle, Dakrina, Neutratears as far
as buying the products. I tried to follow the tread and got a
dot.pdf sales sheet letting me know I could find magnesium, and
copper suppliments. Yum. Really, where can I find the stuff
    you guys rave about here.

    Hi Robert,

Hope you don't mind, I moved this over from the product review section.

Dwelle, Dakrina and NutraTear will be available from The Dry Eye Zone starting in April. (Go to the home page and click on Dry Eye SHOP.) Free samples will be available while supplies last. (I think we all know what it's like to try a $15 product that doesn't work... gets frustrating after enough money's spent, so we decided it would be more fair to just charge shipping & handling so everyone can have a chance to see whether they actually work before investing in a month's supply.)

They have been available from Apothecure, a compounding pharmacy, on a very small scale in recent years as a sort of interim measure while a licensee was sought. However, that requires a prescription. The products themselves are over-the-counter, but the prescription requirement is simply because of the fact of their being made in a pharmacy.

I will post here when they become available via the website.

You can also get them from Dr Holly himself via www.dry-eye-institute.org just contact them and ask about getting "Dr Holly's drops" You don't need a prescription but he does ask for a $20 donation per bottle you order. So it is up to you on whether the extra cost is worth not waiting for them.

As I count the minutes until I am able to first try the drop samples then
buy them. Which (Dr. Holly)drop is most preferred and why for pre bed time?

I have completely given up on all the over the counter gels and ointments that
1). blur my vision the day after, and
2). dry to the consistancy of super glue in my eye over night.
3). never make it through the night requiring multiple applications.

Use dwelle at night, it is the strongest and works the best for overnight use.

Day 1 - I used nothing but dwelle, make sure you have a wet tissue for your eyelashes after use. The stuff can group on them if you dont wipe them clean. I noticed a major difference that night.

Day 2 - My eyes improved enough where I only used dwelle 3 times, the rest of the time I used nutratear. (Dwelle in the morning, before bed, and mid-afternoon)

Day 3 - Today I am literally reminded myself to take drops as they don't feel dry at all. Well maybe a little, but the difference is drastic.

I also used a cool mist humidifier which i wasn't using before, that deserves some credit too.

You can get dakrina for daytime use, it is as strong as dwelle but more popular for daytime uses. Not sure why i haven't tried it yet.

Also should add I got the same super glue feeling from gel drops at night. If you can only afford one right now get dwelle. Limit your uses to 6 times a day though, thats per Dr. Holly.

                Rebecca....please, please let us know!

                Hi Rebecca,
I too am like Robert. I am SO looking forward to being able to try all the drops you all are talking about all the time, but I'd love to sample them first. I have spent so much money on stuff already that barely works. Paying $20 a bottle right now is kind of out of my price range too.
Please, please put it in BIG LETTERS when the samples are available to try. Thank God April is right around the corner!

                  Kyle,

I understand the financial burden this has been. We all feel it. I know it must be particularly hard for an aspiring actress. I am fortunate that the rehab has been affordable for me.

I am anticipating a shipment of several bottles of Dr. Holly's drops. I've completely run out and have been having one heck of a time getting hold of more. I think they must've gotten lost in the mail or something. Dr. Holly was surprised I had not received them as of yet.

Still, when I do finally get them and if you've not yet tried any, I'll mail you a bottle. Not sure which one I'll send you, but I can part with one. I'll be trying the serum drops starting on Monday anyway.

Some day when you're rich and famous you can send me tix to your opening night.

Sounds good. I appreciate all the help.
Actually you can catch me right now in "The Aviator". Small part, don't blink.
I'm on the red carpet with Leonardo Dicaprio...playing a fan grabbing on him yelling "Howard, Howard". Sea green dress, hair in ringlets...doesn't look much like me now at all. We shot it about a year and a half ago.
Sad thing is..if I had to shoot that part today I couldn't. That red carpet was lined with heaters!
