kontour kontacts

my doctor wants me to try to get kontour contacts, to help and treat my SLK. I have been trying to find some info on these, and the only thing i can find is a mention of their company in richmond ca. i called 2 optometrists today and neither one has heard of these. can anybody help?

This is turning out to be a tough order to fill. I've put my best search effort into this and come up with very little. Most of what I've found is dated around 1997 which would explain why the ODs might not have heard of Kontour Kontacts. What I've found (not that it helps):

Last paragraph pg.5:

aspheric RGP lenses and a soft multifocal lens sold under the trademark

thanks for trying, i was able to get a phone number off of some website i stumbled across, they are in california and the lady was able to give me a list of doctors who carry them in my area.
