Better diagnosis: find the right consultant ophthalmologist
Moorfields Private, anterior segment or inflammation consultants http://www.moorfields-private.co.uk/home, also neuro-ophths.
Or Choose and Book NHS referral to Moorfields or Western Eye Hospital. Otherwise check NHS choose and book website for your local teaching hospital eye clinic, referral through GP or any optometrist. Change GP if s/he won't do it; our first two were very, very wrong on 'diagnosis'. Irisheyes is right, A&E is a quick fix 4hr wait conveyor belt most days.
Some London PCTs are using The Practice plc for ophth triage, again GP or optometrist referral, good http://www.thepracticeplc.com/index.jsp.
Other consultants in private sector, eg Windsor Eye Clinic, Spirehealthcare.com (bit cheaper outside London). NB be careful 'anterior segment' specialist is definitely into dry eye and inflammation, not just cataract business. Similar cost to Michel Guillion, outside London. Private prescription for drops eg £50ish in Lloyds chemist.
Very sorry. PM me if you think it will help.Paediatric ocular rosacea ~ primum non nocere
