Research on dryness in dogs in US

Hi all,

I have heard there is some research going on in US on some dogs.
They have created a similar kind of high dryness and are doing reasearch.

Is it true?Are there any outcomes for this?

Dogs can suffer from SS and they are treated with Restasis as well so I think they can be used for research

Many dogs suffer from dryness due to the physiology of their eyes. Restasis was invented by a veterinarian at the University of Georgia. One of the few drugs that were originally intended for animals and then brought to humans.
