The problem with these kind of reports is that it promotes a generalised fear of vitamins or herbal medicines.

No one denies that strong herbal medicines may have adverse effects for some people when taken with medications. However, none of these kinds of reports discuss the plethora of potential adverse effects of mixing pharmaceutical medications together either. The majority of the time, no one knows because it has never been studied in clinical trials. It's simply too time consuming an costly.

Not a single cell in the body is made out of a drug. However all our cells require vitamins and minerals to synthesize the countless chemical reactions in the body.

Over 100,000 Americans die from adverse drug reactions every year, taking the medication as directed. But somehow it's the supplements we need to be careful of? Seriously, something just doesn't stack up.
