Hi
I just want to write a few words to thank everybody who has either responded to my threads or PM d me with advice. This Site is a "no Nonsense" site that has lots of tips and seems to have a lot of people who really understand the issues here, and although I still have my problems, I have found this one of the most helpfull sites to use.
I am hoping as I go along I will find a little more confidence in dealing with my problems with the dryness, and perhaps become less upset by it.
I think that I still have a long way to go in understanding just what is going on and what exactly to try. I try to be as resourcefull as one can be, for example, this afternoon we spent the time, insulating our outside walls, hopefully to avoid using too much internal heating, as this does bother me. I had researched different methods of insulation and finally decided to install cut foam boards along the outside wall of my bedroom. We battened wood strips and covered foam boards with foil, to be covered with tongue and groove cladding. Our house is a victorian terrace so has no cavity walls, we will of course install foam boards in between the rafters on the roof. At the moment my bedroom looks like the interior of a spaceship!
In additon I made my first chemical free shampoo of bicrbonate of soda as this gets rid of any build up of shampoo, and I will be making some proper shampoos.
Anyway a huge thanks for all the support.
Lulu
