  • Low Testosterone

This is a tangent to the usual discussions here, but does anyone have any information on the correlation between low testosterone and dry eyes!?

    Hi there, Jay Cee! Welcome.

Sorry to see you here as it means you are uncomfortable and somewhat desperate. There's a lot "out there" on the internet and "on here" in regards to androgens (or male sex horomones) and dry eyes. Along the top of the screen on this site, you'll see the "search" key. Type in testosterone and you get all sorts of threads to check out.

There is, in particular, some buzz on this bulletin board about a testosterone cream that some have had made by compounding pharmacists.

Check it all out and let us know what you think...

Thanks Diana, I'll search around and see what I find. I've been taking a prohormone, a pre-coursor to testosterone. I find that the eyes are better when I take the prohormone. I'm looking into testosterone replacement therapy for systemic reasons (libodo is fine ) but for the other systemic benefits. Locally, I'm sure the eyes will get better after I start. Will let you know!

Just as an FYI, I've attached a link to this website that I found beneficial. The hormone section is what I'm focusing on...

Per this thread on testosterone cream:

Here is a related article that came out earlier this year:
