I don't think this has been posted in the open forum, so I hope no-one minds my posting a link to this.
A reporter is looking to interview someone who had LASIK in 2005 or later, badly messed up vision, plus dry eyes... if you fit the bill, why not contact the reporter to find out what kind of story they want to tell? Nothing to lose, and it's not like contacting them commits you to doing the story, right?
