  • Unexplained swelling at the lateral canthus (outer eye crease) for a month

I have this strange swelling like fluid is under the skin at the lateral canthus area which is the outer eye crease area in one eye.

I've had it for a month. I have mild bleph and allergies but have no idea how this happened.

Anyone have any opinions on this?

Sometimes the area feels tight and a little hot and gets a bit red, but it doesn't look like any kind of infection. I've tried antibacterial cream and antibiotics just to rule infection out and they didn't do anything to change matters.

Hopefully it's a swollen gland but I would see a qualified eye doc to make sure it's not a tumour. You tried oral antibiotics?
