I have been following the dry eye summit website and there are 17 new drops that are in clinical trial phase 2 and all of them have shown really good results..
Also there are 4 new drops that are now in clinical trial phase 3 with excellent results in phase 2 and so far in phase 3. The doctor on the website said that he believes that there will be 2 to 3 new options beside restasis on the market within a few years. He also believes that there could be alot of different options within five years.

I hope so to. These days its hard to get your hopes up about any new treatments. But maybe we will have something soon.
