what is slk? would i know if i had it?

ok. ihave sjogrens and mgd... i went to one of the best docs (often quoted on here) for years until he retired... i dont think he could have missed something like this..but now i have been reading about slk and am worried ?? would my eyes be really red? i have the foreign body sensation at times but have been told that its from sjogrens andocular roseaca.. i also have seen 4 corneal specialists and like i said one was an author of the tear film thing always mentioned on here.. a major researcher..

is this just anxiety???

Red is just one symbol of slk. And other one is itch. Accompanied with more gum in the eyes. If you have these three, see a doctor as soon as you can.

what is gum in the eyes???? mine are just bone dryoff and on--mostly dry all the time with sjogrens and mgd... they itch in allergy seasons but other than that they dont.. i see my doc every month... hmmmm.. i will ask him next month to double check....i have had several docs i see over this past year. i think its my anxiety getting to me...

doc just called.. he has looked under both lids and does so a lot.. i do not have slk.. im such a worrier.
