  • Hyaluronidaze

I posted this already in the scleral lens site but I'm hoping it might get noticed here by someone who's had the hyaluronidaze treatment.

I had LASIK 16 years ago. It left me with night blindness from haze and starbursts. Then eight years ago I had PRK, after being told the wider laser would fix the problems caused by the original small laser. The PRK lessened the degree of starbursting but not to the point that I can drive at night. Then I visited Dr G in Coppel, TX. He produced a pair of ginormous scleral lenses. These don't stop the starbursting either. Then I saw on his website that subepithelial scar tissue will cause haze and starbursting but it can't be helped with lenses.

My latest attempt at regaining night vision led me to Dr Karageozian, an ophthalmologist. He uses hyaluronidaze to dissolve scar tissue in the corneal flap. I've sent messages but so far no response. Someone on the old laser my eye website mentioned going to Europe for a successful flap lift to clear out scar tissue. I'm wondering if Dr K does something similar.
