Need some hope....

So has been over 7 months since this nightmare started, how I wish I could reverse the decision to get permanent eyeliner :/ Back to the optometrist 2 days ago as could feel eyes had been deteriorating, TBUT back to 3 in each eye, devastated. 2 months ago had managed to improve to 7 and was not meant to return again til 22nd Dec for next testing, optometrist pretty shocked at backwards step so am now been referred on to ophthalmologist, hoping to get appointment within next few weeks. Cannot pinpoint anything I have changed to take such a backward step, and is so demoralizing and quite frightening going backward without knowing why. I know I have only been on this journey 7 months, a lot less than many of you on here, but has anyone else made good progress only to hit starting point again? The depression that comes along with this condition is also so overwhelming, I mentioned it in another thread but if there is anyone else in Christchurch, NZ that would like to make contact would be so grateful.

Thanks Savino, am hoping this will be done when I meet with ophthalmologist....he is aware of the damage that can occur from the procedure so hopefully will be well informed. Is just hard to find anyone else that has had an adverse reaction like I have....in fact I have not been able to find anyone at all.
