I have had blepharitis and dry eye for exactly one year. The following are a list of what I have tried or am currently trying:
RX:
OTC:
Procedures:
I have experienced some mild improvement, but am still plagued by this condition. I would be happy to go into detail on any of the things I've tried and would like to post an introduction with an overview in the near future. I don't live in a large city, so I'm not sure my doctors know much about this condition and I don't have a diagnosis of the root cause.
My current questions is: Does anyone have any experience with lid scalloping?
As far as I know, I have only had blepharitis for one year. However, my lower lid is somewhat jagged or "scalloped" as I've heard it referred to. I believe this is at Marx's Line (is this where the eyelid meets the eye?). The scalloping is not very noticeable, but is definitely there if you look closely. Some websites say this may be the result of scarring? Could I have scarring after only one year of the condition? And is this reversible or will l I likely have permanent lid scalloping? My upper lid margin curves very smoothly where it meets eye.
Thank you for any information on this particular issue!
