Relief from staphylococcous/seborrheic blepharitis & dry eye.

essentially. and I also have staph colonizing my eyelids but I do not believe it is a bacterial infection because antibiotics give me no relief. many people have staph that colonize their eyes, noses with no bad effects. if antibiotics don't help you, then i doubt staph is causing the problem because you should at least get relief for a short period of time (before the staph comes back).

I used to have bad saponification but not really anymore. Not sure why that's improved. And what I was saying is that even though we both have staph present (like nearly all MGD patients likely do), but the mere presence of staph does not indicate a staph infection and the corresponding negative symptoms. Studies have shown that 30% of the entire population have staph present and living in their eyes and nose at all times but it doesn't cause problems for most people.
My guess is that you're not getting any relief from some of your anti-bacterial treatments because the staph bacteria present in your eyes isn't the primary problem. It may be one problem, which is why you find some relief from the tea tree cleaning. I'm only suggesting that you think about it as a multifactor problem rather than just the bacteria.
