Thats really helpful. I looked some of those up and there are a lot of SSRI antidepressants on that list....Prozac,Clexa,Zoloft,and Paxil. The antidepressants that were not on there were the SNRIs like Lexapro, Effexor, Cymbalta, and Wellbutrin. Does any one take the SNRIs? Im on Lyrica...its been almost two weeks at 600 mg now daily. I dont see a difference.

I used low dose quetiapine for sleep and it made my eyes 10x drier. Unfortunately even though I've been off it 6/7 weeks there has been no improvement. I'm worried that the level of dryness is permanent now even though my GP told me it would get better as soon as I stopped it.

I was on Lyrica for a few months. I did not like it - like being stoned without the humor. I couldn't tell where my feet and hands ended. I couldn't tell what temperature my food was. I put a steaming baked potato in my mouth and didn't feel it. My problem was chalasis improperly diagnosed as ocular neuropathy. The lyrica helped the chalasis feeling but I could tell it was not a good long term solution for me. In the end I had surgery.

I had chalasis in both eyes, posterior and anterior, 360 degrees around each eye. It felt as if someone had stuffed tissues, huge wads of dry tissues, under my eye lids. It burned. It was scratchy. It was painful It felt like menthol. It felt like something horrible had deposited itself and was consuming my eyes. At waking I would feel fine for a few minutes. But within an hour the feelings would come back. Eventually I figured out that I could avoid the sensations by keeping my eyes closed all the time. I opened for only moments to see where I was walking. I did not leave the house for weeks except to go to a doctor's appointment. If I opened my eyes for more than a one blink the sensation would return.
