  • Sanitising Water w/Hypochlorous Acid - safe to clean lids? Vital Baby Aquaint, UK

    Hi
    Many American doctors highly recommend
    Avenova's
Cleanser for its pure (0.01%) Hypochlorous Acid/HOCI, &
Ocusoft Hypochlor is 0.02% HOCI (to kill Bacteria) - OTC product, shelf life: 6 months

They are not available in Europe and I have no luck in finding effective/safe cleansers.
Finally I have found the above item. Details see below - seems only contain water and HOCI
I plan to spray around eyes (closed eyes) and belive it is safe but wanted to ask your opinions.
Have someone tried it already? Price is much much attractive and the spray design is super!

Nice find. I've also heard of two other brands that may be easier to get than Avenova:

    Hypochlor from OcuSoft
    Heyedrate from Eyelovethesun
Sufferer due to Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis.

Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, I can not get them.
I beleive this baby water will serve the same purpose - very good price!
In UK, cost about Euro 5 (for 500ml), I suppose.

I'm in UK so would be very interested to hear how you get on with it if you do try it. Best of luck.

It is pity there is NO information on % Hypochlorous Acid,
not in the bottle, not in the company website (business secrets?).
I assume over 0.02% might NOT be a good idea to clean eyelids???
          (Avenova's is 0.01%, Ocusoft Hypochlor's is 0.02%).

I used it and seems ok. I was told its Hypochlorous Acid is 0.003%? I emailed the company for the info but no reply.
I tried Blephasol Duo and Blephagel - dont find they are effective for bacteria/deomdex.
Although I dont have these issues (for one year), I am a firm believer of ''prevention is better than cure''.
