  • Could this be demodex mites?

    My eyelashes:

For the past 4 years I've been to 12 eye docs, trying to find the cause of my dryness. I also had my eye lashes tested for demodex and there supposedly weren't any. I have had them on my face though, likely for many years.
Is this white base of my eyelashes something normal or is this dundruff that I only recently noticed?

Hard to tell but if have had them on your face, try Cliradex wipes for three consecutive months. If your eyes improve, you will have your answer.

      Hi,
Cliradex is slightly too expensive for me, so I'm doing q-tip scrubs with tea tree oil "diluted" in warm water and I'm using some other tissues for eye-lid hygiene, much cheaper, that are actually called "Demodex". I guess they are similar to Demoxoft tissues.
I have to do it regardless because I'm using Soolantra on my face and I don't want the mites to migrate to my eyes (should they not already be there).
I'm going to redo the eye lashes test soon, along with the face test.
